![]() ![]() ![]() I write meeting bullet points and agendas. It's completely changed how I take notes. Keep is best used for making short notes. You can use it everywhere too (browser, app, Gmail). It even allows you to grab the text from those images. It's useful for jotting down notes with images. It's good for quick, short notes or lengthy reminders. I'm very pleased with my time with Google Keep. You can't even do rich text formatting! Lists are totally inflexible other than simple indentation for a pseudo subtask motif. I do use the colors as well with a pretty deep system of categories, but I ran out of colors for new categories a long time ago because of the limited number of choices. You can add colors or labels if you like, but what I love most is the powerful search built in that instantly brings up one of my hundreds of notes, even archived ones. No learning curve, no saving, no files or folders. Write a note, maybe make it a list or add a picture. All I know is that it's pervasive across all my devices and installed on my Pixel phones, so it's super handy and the default when I need to get something out of my head, so despite all these short-comings, I still use it and will "keep" using it (haha, sorry for the pun). However, the app’s drawbacks include being relatively expensive and having limited collaboration features compared to competitors. The app has a lot of task management features, and its user interface is nothing short of stellar. We consider Todoist one of the best apps you can use to plan your personal and work schedules. Todoist’s primary advantage over these rivals is its ease of use. Todoist’s main competitors include TickTick, Asana, and Google Tasks. To make up for this, Todoist provides a Help Center with detailed user guides and articles concerning every aspect of the app. There’s no live chat or telephone support, which we consider a drawback. This feature gives you custom task views based on specific metrics, such as due dates, the project they're grouped under, and the user they're assigned to. But, Todoist has the Filters feature to help you do this. If you have many tasks on your dashboard, sifting through them manually can be challenging. The reminders can come through email notifications, push notifications, or SMS alerts. The app lets you set reminders for every task, but this feature isn’t available in the free version. Likewise, you can reorder the tasks by dragging and dropping them where you want them to be. You can add as many tasks and subtasks as you wish to any project. A Todoist project is a collection of tasks grouped under one umbrella. You can color-code these projects to differentiate them from each other.
